Ghee Rice (Nei Soru)

 1 cup Basmati Rice
 3 tbsp Sri Saran Krishna Cow Ghee
 1 Cinnamon stick
 2 Cloves
 2 Cardamom
 1 Bay leaf
 8 Cashews
 1 Onion
 1 Green chili
 2 cups Water
 Salt
Instructions:

Wash and soak basmati rice for 20 minutes.

Heat 3 tablespoons of Sri Saran Krishna Cow Ghee in a pan. Fry cashews until golden and set aside.

In the same ghee, add cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, bay leaf, green chili, and sliced onion. Sauté until the onions turn golden and aromatic.

Add the soaked and drained rice, sauté gently for 2 minutes to coat with the ghee and spices.

Add 2 cups of water and salt to taste. Mix and cover. Cook on low flame until the rice is done and fluffy.

Garnish with the fried cashews.
